What is a CSA? It stands for Community Supported Agriculture. And it means that each pick up (weekly, bi-weekly, or every 4 weeks), you will receive a share - bag - of what we are harvesting that week. So you will be eating locally and seasonally.
Locally means that you know where your food is coming from. That it's still fresh when it gets to you, not a week - or two or three - old.
Seasonally means you will get corn and summer squash in July, peppers and tomatoes and peaches in August, grapes and cucumbers in September, cauliflower and persimmons in November and more! (You will get more than corn and squash in your bag, those are just examples of the major crops you will get in your share in July)
